SAMPLE WEEKEND ITINERARY
|1| FRIDAY
Check into the AirBnb mid afternoon then make up a grocery list for snacks, drinks and breakfast foods.Once you get back from the store unpack the groceries and start setting up the decor. We usually focus on over decorating one area, so we make it the living room. Then prep the games you will play during the weekend so it is easy to get to.
By evening all of the friends should have arrived, so if you don’t know everyone do a fun game to introduce everyone. We always do dinner at-home the first night, since everyone is arriving at different times. If possible, find a private chef that can make an authentic dinner, so you can start enjoying the weekend together!
|2| SATURDAY
Plan a day to a popular beach bar/club come late morning then make a reservation for an early dinner at a local hot spot. After a long day in the sun and enjoying a dinner out experiencing the local cuisine, head home to freshen up and play some bachelorette games! We usually do a lingerie gift exchange this night as well as it is a perfect time to while all hanging out.
|3| SUNDAY
Let everyone sleep in a bit, then arrange a 2-4 hour activity to explore the natural wonders of the area.
For this trip we went on a 3 hour Cenote tour through a local tour group. You can find these activities through Yelp, Viator or AirBnb. Afterwards, find a restaurant to eat late lunch at in the downtown area before heading back to chill (aka take a nap). Then plan your dress-up night out (make reservations beforehand) to have a nice dinner out all together.
Hit up some bars after dinner then back to the AirbBnb.
|4| MONDAY– Pack up and head back home! Quick travel tip! If you are going somewhere international, book a transportation company to pick you up at the airport. When you are in an unfamiliar area, you must think safety, so having a driver take you directly to your AirBnB is a great idea!
