|1|Crisp White: Do you want an elegant, modern and classic wedding look? If yes, then you can be inspired by this wedding look that brings out the feeling of brightness through the use of a crisp white with small accents of greenery, sheer fabrics and delicate textures. We selected an overlay that would allow the beautiful wood table show through but continued with the use of white with the plateware. Then, we had very modern glassware called “metropolitan” along with dipped gold white flatware and a simple charger. But my favorite part of this look? The motif of lace butterflies we used from the same material as the bridal gown! All of the candle pillars gave the ceremony and reception table a glow of romance and hint of elegance!
|2|World of Pastels: This wedding design look was inspired by the the feeling of minimalism through the use of soft colors, simple fabrics, materials with translucence and an overall motif of “crystal.” The couple wanted to use a particular “crystal glassware” which had an elegance & formality that lead the way to the inspiration for the colors. Since, the couple enjoyed more muted tones vs bold colors we slowly started to draw inspiration from the sunset of the Midwest, just in a tempered way. With that in mind, you will find a leave embroidery in the runners and lots of greenery in the florals. Also, we brought in the crystals from the glasses in the candlesticks and napkin rings. Enjoy playing with color, as it is always fun!!
|3|Pop of Color: No one thinks of a neutral color being able to be a “pop of color”..but this couple made burnt orange their accent throughout the look! The couple loved neutral tones inspired by their engagement in Antelope Canyon, but didn’t want the whole room to look to plain. Therefore, we were inspired by a feeling of earthiness through the use of blending neutral colors and natural materials. To make the design more cohesive we layered the linen and used different shades of floral vases. Then, in order to make the tablescape “pop” we added in the burnt orange runner which really made it come to life….and not, only did we add it to the table, but also to the ceremony arch!
BONUS!!! Black & White: This was one of my favorite looks designed with a couple! It is no surprise I already love the black and white, so getting to design a modern black & white wedding was very exciting! Being a couple from the city, we needed to make sure we added in a touch of sophistication. The motif of the “pearl” was a perfect addition to make the look classic and give a feeling being being unique, like a pearl. Then we used baby’s breath to add in the sophistication. Why? because, the denseness of the baby breath gave off a lot of white, but also allowed the florist to play with the negative white space when adding in the roses. Overall, aesthetic this look gave the feeling of a beautiful city wedding in a small town!
