The Color of 2021
The moody color of 2021 is all tones of brown. Find out how to use just the right amount of neutrality for your wedding day design look.
For a wedding day the color brown appeals to couples with the neutrality it brings the space. Then you are able to have keep the room neutral, add in accents of color or bring a bold color with the use of florals, china, flatware, glassware, centerpieces and stationery pieces. It is no surprise that as a wedding designer, so many of our wedding couples are using this color!
Holly & Austin used a “terracotta” table runner and “tan” table drape. Jenna & Jimmy are accenting the “wood farm table” and “sandstone” napkins. Krysta & Steve are using the boldness of black with a ” geometric tan runner”. Therefore, with any color, finding how to use just the right amount or the right hue is always the challenging part.

Here are some expert design tips on how to find the right mood of brown.
For a saturated and dark tone for your wedding day use a dark tone to contrast against the neutral colors. The colors of brown to use are: Terracotta, Carmel, Driftwood, Walnut and Oatmeal
For a softer and lighter tone for your wedding day keep within the neutral color palette. The colors of brown to use are: Ivory, Sandstone, Champagne, Bone, Beige and Taupe
For a vibrant and bold tone for your wedding day add in an accent color or warmth colors & metal accents. The colors of brown to use are: Tumeric, Gold, Bronze and then a “WOW” pop of color
