Must Have Wedding Items
Must Have Wedding Items
We always enjoy finding out the trend for the new year, but now I am sharing the MUST HAVE’s items couples are wanting for the big day here in the Midwest. Plus, as your “TIPsy Coordinator”I share the top 5 overlooked items couples forget to bring!
#1 CEREMONY BUBBLES – I love adding in bubbles for your wedding day, because traditional they are a symbol of wishes for a happy future. Therefore, they are a great way to add a touch of magic to the big day at your ceremony processional or reception send off. If bubbles aren’t your thing you can also try…lavender, flower petals, ribbon wands, sparklers, glow sticks or biodegradable confetti!
#2 TABLE RUNNERS– It is easy to dress up your dining tables with a beautiful runner that goes with your overall style. Almost every wedding now, couples are using runners as in inexpensive way to still showcase the farm tables but also help it not look too bare. Here are the more popular runner textures for this year: gauze, burlap, organze, lace and woven. Quick tip! Before you buy your runners decide if you want it to hang off the table or be centered on the table. This will help you decide how many you need per table.
#3 CYLINDER CANDLES & PILLARS– I am loving this new trend to do a lot of cylinder candles for decor. Not only is it cost effective, but it can easily one of the biggest impacts for wedding decor! You can choose from different size cylinders then do a slim or thick pillar or floating candle. If you prefer a more elegant look you can get candle sleeves to place over your candlesticks and help prevent a lot of wax drip on your dining tables. The most impactful places to do a lot of candles are the ceremony aisle (be careful guests sit from the outside-in), head table or lining the entryway to the venue. My go-to online stores I find these candles are: Yummi Candles, Amazon, Glass Vase Depot and Tablecloths Factory.
Now here is my rundown of the TOP 5 Overlooked Wedding Items– I can’t tell you enough how often couples come to me for a “quick fix” as they forget these wedding items. MAKE SURE TO PACK THESE for the big day!
